The Lehigh Investment Management Group is comprised of several student-managed investment funds including the Dreyfus, FSL Value, Thompson, and Rights portfolios.
Funded in 1962, the Dreyfus Portfolio is the flagship student run investment fund at Lehigh University. The Dreyfus Portfolio provides real investing experience for selected students with an interviewing process often rivaling the same difficulty level of Wall Street analyst positions. With a strong understanding of the financial markets, the students on the Dreyfus Portfolio are typically juniors, seniors, and graduate students. This portfolio is considered the strongest gateway to the financial markets at Lehigh University. Managers of the portfolio have been consistently recruited for top positions at leading financial firms. The Dreyfus Board of Directors oversee the performance and portfolio management functions of the Dreyfus, FSL Value, and Rights portfolios.
The FSL Value portfolio was funded in 2005 by the generous donation of a Lehigh University alumni family. The goal of the portfolio is to provide students with an investment vehicle to learn and practice value based investment disciplines.
